Our roots are inside complex defense programs — in program control rooms where budgets are defended, estimates are briefed to executives, and the true cost of winning and performing is measured in real dollars, real schedules, and real careers.
From that vantage point, the gap in the market was obvious. Founder & President · V. Alexandra
Heather Hopkin founded V. Alexandra after years inside the defense industry as a program financial and program control practitioner supporting large government contracts — developing budgets and forecasts, building and defending EACs, analyzing variances, managing subcontractor financials, and delivering the executive reporting that program decisions depend on.
That experience shaped the firm's defining belief: the best consulting advice comes from people who have carried the numbers, briefed the leadership, and lived with the consequences of a bid. As Founder and President, Heather leads the firm's strategic direction and its executive advisory relationships from Huntsville, Alabama — one of the nation's premier defense and aerospace communities.
